Connect AWS EC2 Instance through Putty & PuttyGen.

Hi, In this article we are talking about How to connect AWS EC2 Instance through Putty & PuttyGen.

Let’s start

Step 1: 

Download Putty & PuttyGen (from here) and Install it.

Step 2: 

Open the PuttyGen And Click on Load button.

Step 3: 

Now, Select PEM File & Save Passphrase (Password)

Step 4: 

After that, Save Private Key.

Step 5: 

Now go to AWS EC2 and Select your Instance. There you get Public DNS.

Step 6: 

Then, Open the Putty and Enter Host Name & Public DNS there.

Step 7: 

After that, Go to Connection, Inside connection go to SSH
Now browse your Private Key file in Auth

Step 8: 

Now, Click the Open button. You will get console screen like these.

Step 9: 

Now you need to enter username & password

Username: ec2-user
Password: which you have set in PuttyGen
